The SP500X, using patented technology from HP, is ideal for warehousing, package delivery and logistics. It offers a robust, easy-to-use and high-performance printing solution that prints directly on packages or other surfaces – eliminating the cost, hassle and mislabeling errors of printed labels.

High speed scanning + extended performance

The lightweight, hand-mounted SP500X can complete more than 1,250 scans and prints per hour, scanning and printing in just two seconds. It uses a lithium-ion battery delivering up to 6,000 scans and prints per charge, and its custom print cartridges can output thousands of prints. The battery is warm-swappable, to maintain a Wi-Fi connection and minimize downtime.

Easy integration with existing IT

Wi-Fi compatibility integrates the SP500X ScanPrinter seamlessly into existing IT environments, communicating directly with your back-end system. The MicroPython-based SDK gives you flexibility to tailor the UX to your workflow. And the SP500X prints directly onto packaging for ultimate efficiency, costing less and producing less waste than thermal label printing.

Customizable, sanitary, comfortable—and rugged

The SP500X features a front-lit LCD screen customizable to show information users need. You can easily swap the straps and pad so each user can have their own sanitary set, and the straps break away automatically if caught on something. This rugged device also meets MIL-STD-810G and IP53 ruggedness ratings, protected against shock, dust and water sprays for continuous mobile use in a supply chain environment.
