Concurrent Launches Kratos 32-Core Intel® Xeon® 3U VPX Board
Oriens is pleased to highlight the launch of Concurrent’s Kratos 32-Core 3U VPX Board, an upgraded rugged embedded computing platform that delivers the highest core count available in an Intel® Xeon®-based 3U VPX form factor.
Building on the original 20-core Kratos design, this latest version integrates a 32-core Intel® Xeon® processor, providing up to 60% more performance to support increasingly data-intensive workloads at the edge. The board is designed to deliver server-class computing power while maintaining the compact size and rugged reliability required for mission-critical systems.
The Kratos 32-Core board supports up to 256GB of DRAM and features 100Gbps Ethernet connectivity, enabling high-throughput data processing and fast system communication. Its SOSA®-aligned 3U VPX architecture ensures interoperability and ease of integration within open systems environments.
Designed for rugged and harsh operating conditions, the platform is well suited for applications across defence, aerospace, security, and other mission-critical embedded systems where size, weight, power, and performance are key considerations.
Oriens is proud to support Concurrent in bringing this advanced rugged computing solution to customers, helping enable next-generation, data-driven mission systems.
