The addition of the Hailo-8R Neural Processing Unit (NPU) delivers up to 13 TOPS of AI performance, allowing complex inference workloads to be executed locally without dependence on cloud connectivity. This capability supports real-time applications such as computer vision, video analytics, anomaly detection, and environment mapping, while significantly reducing latency and bandwidth requirements.

Designed with low size, weight, and power (SWaP) in mind, the Ballard NG3 with E03 option is well suited for aerospace, defense, and industrial environments where reliability and efficiency are critical. On-device inference also enhances system security by keeping sensitive data local, making it ideal for mission-critical and secure applications.
