Pleora Launches eBUS SDK 7.0 to Accelerate Next-Generation Imaging Development

Posted on25 Mar 2026

Pleora Technologies has announced the launch of eBUS SDK 7.0, the latest evolution of its widely adopted software development kit for high-performance imaging systems. The new release introduces a unified platform that simplifies development workflows while enabling faster deployment of advanced imaging applications.

Built on a single API, eBUS SDK 7.0 allows developers to seamlessly integrate multiple interfaces—including GigE Vision, 10GigE, and USB—without the need to manage separate vendor-specific tools. This streamlined approach reduces development complexity and accelerates time-to-market for machine vision, automation, and robotics solutions.

The latest version also expands platform support, including Windows, Linux, and ARM-based systems, enabling deployment across a wide range of environments—from edge devices to industrial computing systems.

Key enhancements in eBUS SDK 7.0 include improved integration capabilities, such as compatibility with third-party pipelines like GStreamer and support for ROS2, making it easier to develop and deploy robotics and AI-driven applications. The platform also introduces enhanced multi-stream and multi-sensor performance, ensuring reliable handling of high-bandwidth imaging data.

In addition, expanded GenDC capabilities enable more efficient transmission of complex data types—including 2D, 3D, and multispectral imaging—within a single data stream. This advancement supports increasingly sophisticated imaging requirements across industries such as industrial automation, medical imaging, and security systems.

With these enhancements, eBUS SDK 7.0 reinforces Pleora’s commitment to delivering flexible, high-performance connectivity solutions that simplify development while supporting the growing demands of next-generation imaging technologies.
